Upcycling Cardboard Boxes

I’m getting better and better at converting garbage into something fun and useful. It’s been a good homeschool lesson for Lily too. She’s learning to be creative and recycle.

Here are two of our recent creations using cardboard boxes.

We basically just covered the whole thing with duct tape and hot glued little pieces of craft wood (you can get a bag of these at the craft store for a few bucks) on the sides for wheels. You could use anything though. Later I thought that milk jug lids would be perfect too. I started saving my milk caps now for future crafts .

Lily loves the car. In fact, she actually likes it more than the REAL Barbie car we bought her. Funny right.

Then we made this fun robot costume. Just used tin foil and dyer tubes. Pretty cool right .
