I posted a slide show video of Brooklyn’s birth on Facebook a while back, but now I finally have the real video ready. It’s mostly pictures, but with a little video footage. The video footage didn’t turn out as good as I had hoped because it was so dark in the room. Thankfully I had the very talented Crystal Pikering there to capture the birth with her high quality camera and amazing skills. Not many people can get pictures as sharp as these with no flash and in such a dark room. Here’s the video.

That was so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. My sister just birthed her 6th child last week – she has done home water births for 4 of the kids, and a birthing center water birth for this most recent little guy (they have to go to a birthing center depending on what state in which they reside). Such a beautiful thing.

That was so beautiful! Thank you for sharing it! I especially loved when your husband was helping to deliver the baby (I think that’s what he was doing anyway). It was so sweet. Did you use a doula? Such a beautifully done video. This inspires me to let our kids be more apart of it, although I’m not quite sure how to approach that with our older boys…
